The lesson “Decision Making Skills” further teaches children the importance of making appropriate decisions as part of healthy and positive social and self-awareness. The children will learn to define the word ‘dilemma’ and will learn several strategies for decision-making when faced with a dilemma. Each child will explain why it is difficult to make decision in a dilemma and articulate why it is important to lean on God in such situations. The lesson includes guided instructions for the teacher, including preparation, a script, and suggested activities to facilitate further learning in a fun and interactive manner. This lesson is designed for children between 9-11 years, and is the 40th lesson in the 2nd year Core Curriculum Set and part of the “Leadership Preparation” unit.
