This collection of two lessons provides students with an understanding of God’s view of work, the importance of a strong and positive work ethic, and why their personal view of work matters to their future, as well as to their community. Lesson 1 walks students through work traits identified in the Bible, and builds their sense of responsibility and purpose while fostering a positive outlook for their personal futures. Lesson 2 reinforces values of integrity, honesty, self-esteem, and responsibility, and helps students identify biblical behaviors and characteristics in work situations. The lessons are 45 minutes long and are meant for an entire class, utilizing small group time as well. Each of the two lessons includes a detailed lesson plan, lists of materials needed, and questions to help guide a constructive conversation.
