This collection of four lessons builds on all of the information presented in previous years on this topic, preparing students to actively pursue their career choices. They will analyze aspects of their personalities such as their learning styles, passions, and multiple intelligences to determine if their career aspirations are suited to their gifts. They’ll write a career plan, and actively pursue their career choice. They’ll also expand their skills by presenting what they’ve learned to the class, and will engage with those in the community to learn about career opportunities. The lessons are 60 minutes long and are meant for an entire class, utilizing small group time as well. Each of the lessons includes a detailed lesson plan, lists of materials needed, and questions to help guide a constructive conversation. There are also tips for success and appendices to support the information provided.
