The lesson “Role of Other Children for Social Development of the Child” helps the mother/caregiver define the concepts of fairness and cooperation in relation to early childhood. The lessons lists strategies for teaching children fairness and cooperation with others, as well as examples of guidelines and expectations regarding fairness and cooperation that the mother/caregiver can use in her home. This lesson enables the mother/caregiver to identify age-appropriate boundaries (between siblings and other family members) according to contextual, cultural expectations for behavior.
